Dear Abdul Qader and Helia, Salam
What a nice conversation is going on! Thanks for your friendly Gapp u Gaal, I hope my dear cousin will be with us at black tents (Gedan) soon and we will enjoy Sheer chay, Sot, Maska as well as Potroonk and etc… May God change this regime and grant us a good government.
Hello again,
Balouch Aziz, I am glad I came out of my shadow and wrote to you. How couldn't I? I can almost smell the wood burning, making all sort of calming noise as the tea gets ready… A baby sleeping in the corner of a tent. A woman making bread for dinner. Men coming home from Cheraa…
All the beautiful beautifil Balouch women & men …specialy women with thier deep silent looks which says so much about their struggle and joy of having a free spirit like theirs. The memories are so dear to me…what can I say except wishing better days for all.
Thank you again for all your heartfelt work/Helia
Hi Dear Helia jan
Thanks for your kind words. You made my day. The good news is great Mr. Hajji Asakhan is still alive and the family is doing just fine. What a good feeling, that I was in the same black tent that you were and having sheer chayy with Hajji thirty years ago. I am glad you wrote this comment, sometimes I feel I am alone and talking with my self. Of course I have great readers but you know hearing from hometown folks always brings back old taste and memories. Take care of yourself and don’t worry be happy.
سلام
Dear Mr. Balouch,
I have been reading your blog for couple of years but I have never commented here.
But your picture with Mr. Khamenie and your brothers deeply moved me. I am sure you re-live the painful experience of loosing your brothers with every execution news you hear. I really don't know what I can say to provide some comfort but I will never forget that image. Thank you for sharing.
My father is from Sistaan and I lived in Zahedan FOR 5-6 years and those were the best days of my life. Our parents would keep their kids entertained by taking us to beautiful black tents of Haji Asaa (looking exactly like your uncle tent), and we would play around goats and sheep for ours and watch how women work on their Soozan-Douzi and etc. I am so grateful for those observations and experiences, and your blog takes me back to that magical place. Do you know anything about the Asaa family? I fear what you might know but I rather find out that not knowing.
The fact that I live in a same city as yours, make me feel less lonely here. Thank you so much for all your wonderful work.
Regards/Helia
